They sourced a low-mileage Sorento Hybrid I could not find

Hybrids are wanted here in Almaty but genuinely hard to find in good condition, and a low-mileage Sorento Hybrid in the spec I wanted was almost impossible. I had been searching the Korean sites myself for weeks with no luck before I finally asked Korea Car Master.
Because they’re in the Korean market every single day, they found a clean one within days — a 2022 with 48,700 km, white, with winter tyres already fitted. The thing I cared about most was the hybrid battery, and this is where they impressed me.
They didn’t just tell me the battery was "fine." They ran the diagnostics and sent me the actual state-of-health reading, plus the hybrid system check results. On a hybrid that is everything — a tired battery is a huge bill a year later. Seeing the real numbers, not a promise, is the reason I went ahead.
Getting a car to Kazakhstan is not simple, because we’re landlocked. They routed it RoRo to Poti in Georgia, then overland to Almaty, and organised the transit documents so there were no problems at the borders. Costs: ₩37,900,000 (about $28,100), agent fee $800, sea freight to Poti about $1,500, and the overland leg around $1,900. Every number was in writing before I paid.
I’ll be straight: the overland part is slow. All in, it was around eight to nine weeks before it reached me, and you have to be patient with a landlocked route. They told me that honestly up front and kept me updated at each handover, so the wait was expected rather than a shock.
The Sorento arrived exactly as described, with the battery health matching what they had shown me weeks earlier. For a hard-to-find hybrid delivered to a difficult destination, they were completely transparent on cost from start to finish. I recommend them, especially if you need a specific spec that nobody local can source.
